Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi leaves today for Brussels, where he will take part in a summit for senior Balkan politicians arranged by the Friends of Europe organisation and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
During the summit, Prime Minister Thaçi will discuss the role and influence of the European Union in the stabilisation and development of the Balkans, with a special emphasis on the stabilising and pacifying effect that Kosovo independence has had on the region.
Regional Prime Ministers, European Union Commissioners and other senior government officials will participate in the summit.
