Kosovo Government Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi and the Luxemburg Defense Minister Jean Loius Schlitz spoke on the latest developments in Kosova and on strengthening the cooperation between the two countries.
PM Thaçi has expressed gratitude on behalf of the Kosovo Government for the recognition of independent Kosova, for the support and the continuous support that Luxemburg has offered.
“We spoke about economic cooperation, which will advance to a much higher stage in the future and about the diverse inter-governmental cooperation. I believe that our relations will be excellent and they will help us in the integration of Kosova into NATO and EU” said PM Thaçi.
The Luxemburg Defense Minister Jean Loius Schlitz was pleased to be the first Luxemburg Minister to visit Kosova after the proclamation of independence and he expressed the readiness of his Government to continue supporting Kosova for the construction of a democratic and multiethnic society.
Mr. Schlitz announced that the Luxemburg Government will continue to support Kosova in the next five years with an amount of EUR 6 million each year.
The Kosova Government PM Hashim Thaçi and the Luxemburg Defense Minister expressed mutual the readiness to develop good communication with mutual interest of both counties.
Luxemburg will participate in the Donors Conference expected to be organized for Kosovo and will actively support the positive developments for Kosovo.
