The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted today in a meeting, the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Michael Davenport, with whom they discussed the cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the OSCE office in Kosovo.
Among other things, they discussed the process of early elections in the municipalities in the north of Kosovo, in which case the Prime Minister expressed his thanks for the support of the OSCE in addressing secondary legislation related to Article 72 of the Law on Local Self-Government.
The meeting also discussed the integration of non-majority communities and the obstacles they face. In this regard, Prime Minister Kurti expressed his concern regarding threats and intimidation from Belgrade and illegal structures against young policemen from the Serbian community recently engaged in the Kosovo Police.
