Kryeministri i Republikës së Kosovës, Albin Kurti, mbrëmë mori pjesë në pritjen e organizuar në prag të nisjes së Edicionit XV të konferencës KosICT, që zhvillohet sot dhe nesër në Prishtinë.
Pasi tha se është kënaqësi të jesh në mes përfaqësuesish të STIKK dhe komunitetit të teknologjisë së informacionit, si dhe ndërmarrësish e partnerësh ndërkombëtarë, kryeministri Kurti tha se kjo konferencë është shndërruar në një vendtakim për ide dhe talentë, për inovacion dhe partneritete, duke lidhur Kosovën me botën.
Kryeministri Kurti theksoi kompanitë tona të teknologjisë po zhvillojnë e ofrojnë zgjidhje për tregun ndërkombëtar, duke dëshmuar se pasuria jonë kryesore janë talenti dhe kreativiteti, por vendosmëria e njerëzve tanë.
“Sot, sektori i ICT-së është një nga sektorët më dinamikë dhe të orientuar në eksport në ekonominë tonë. Eksporti i shërbimeve të ICT-së është pesëfishuar gjatë pesë vjetëve të fundit është rritur për më shumë se pesë herë. Si Qeveri jemi të përkushtuar që të ndërtojmë mbi këtë momentum duke vazhduar të investojmë në infrastrukturë digjitale, modernizim të shërbimeve publike, forcim të edukimit digjital dhe krijim të kushteve më të mira për inovacion dhe ndërmarrësi”, tha kryeministri.
Kryeministri Kurti tha se inteligjenca artificiale po hap një kapitull të ri, që paraqet një mundësi që Kosova të përshtatë teknologji të reja, por edhe të zhvillojë zgjidhje të shpejta dhe konkurrojë në tregjet botërore.

Ladies and gentlemen,
It is a pleasure to join you this evening, as we prepare for another edition of KosICT.
Over the past editions, KosICT has grown into much more than a technology conference. It has become a meeting place for ideas, talent, innovation, and collaborations, connecting Kosova’s tech community with the world. Our tech companies are developing solutions for international markets, and demonstrating that our greatest resource is the talent, creativity, and determination of our people.
Today, the ICT sector is among the most dynamic and export-oriented sectors of our economy. ICT service exports have grown over five times over the past five years.
As Government, we are committed to building on this momentum by continuing to invest in digital infrastructure, modernizing public services, strengthening digital education, and creating better conditions for innovation and entrepreneurship.
Artificial intelligence is now opening a new chapter. It presents an opportunity for Kosova not only to adopt new technologies, but also to develop fast solutions, create greater value, and compete in emerging global markets.
Our ambition should be to build on the success of Kosova’s technology sector, developing evermore innovative products, creating higher-value jobs, and strengthening our position in the world. Achieving this ambition requires strong cooperation between government, businesses, universities, and diaspora, and international partners alike.
