The Government of the Republic of Kosovo, chaired by the Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi, held its 127th regular meeting. Draft laws, regulations and decisions were approved within the Government of the Republic of Kosovo’s constitutional and legal jurisdiction.

Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi thanked Minister Aldo Bumçi and the Government of Albania for the important role it has played and is playing in support of the Republic of Kosovo in the international arena.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Thaçi thanked the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Norway’s support for the consolidation and broader recognition of the new state of Kosovo.

Allow me to open this regular meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, with just one point on the agenda, the approval of the signing of the First Agreement on principles regulating the normalization of relations between the Republics of Kosovo and of Serbia, approximated on April 19, 2013 by the prime ministers of both countries.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi held a press conference today, one day after the agreement approximated between the Republic of Kosovo and of Serbia was signed in Brussels.

In an official note sent to the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo, Jakup Krasniqi, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, requested an emergency session of the Assembly of Kosovo, starting from 20:00.

Today, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi met the LDK leader, Mr. Isa Mustafa, whom he informed about the development of dialogue in the ninth and tenth meetings in Brussels and the agreement approximated by the two prime ministers, of Kosovo and of Serbia.

The Government of the Republic of Kosovo thanks the European Parliament for approving a resolution on Kosovo, a resolution which affirms the state of Kosovo and European values for Kosovo. The Government thanks each member of the European Parliament for supporting Kosovo by initiating and approving this resolution.
