The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today participated in the inauguration of the new facility of the Department for the Production of Documents, within the Agency for Civil Registration, a ceremony in which he was together with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, two the deputy ministers, Bardhyl Dobra and Blerim Gashani, and the director of the Civil Registration Agency of the Republic of Kosovo, Blerim Camaj.
With the visit and inauguration of the new facility for the production of passports in the Republic of Kosovo, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that now the working conditions for each public official for this matter that requires high personal and professional integrity are much more suitable and dignified.
“The total value of this facility in the works that have already been completed is 1.5 million euros. There are a total of 196 officials in the application for passports in the Republic of Kosovo, 20 of them are in Pristina, while we have 95 officials in the sector for the production of passports, who now have the conditions for dignified, suitable work. From this meeting and visit that we had, it was clear that the zeal for work has increased, but at the same time, their gratitude for these new offices, in which they are located now”, said the Prime Minister.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, thanking the citizens for the understanding they had in recent days due to the transfer of the institution and for the delays in the provision of services, announced that from the 15th of this month, the issuance of new documentation with doubled capacities, taking into account the high demands to be equipped with passports, the number of which as of January 1 is about 124 thousand.

Together with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Xhelal Sveçla, his two deputies, Bardhyl Dobra and Blerim Gashani, and with the director of the Civil Registration Agency of the Republic of Kosovo, Blerim Camaj, today we visited and inaugurated the new facility for production of passports in the Republic of Kosovo.
It is an issue that requires high personal and professional integrity, where quality becomes safety and safety becomes quality, and on this occasion we talked with the workers, with the public officials there, who now have much more suitable conditions for important and sensitive work that they do, i.e. the production of passports.
