The regular meeting of the Council for Government Cooperation with Civil Society was held, which was chaired by the Deputy General Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, Arben Krasniqi and the Executive Director of Platforma Civikos, Mrs. Donika Emini.
In this meeting, the role of actors in the implementation process of the Government Strategy for Cooperation with Civil Society 2019-2023 was emphasized.
The Director of the Office for Good Governance in the Office of the Prime Minister, Habit Hajredini, mentioned the work and activities of this institution in coordinating the work of the Council and in general the implementation of the Strategy.
Likewise, the coordinators of the work teams within the Council presented the achievements and challenges in the implementation of each of the activities foreseen within the objectives of the Strategy:
• Dren Puka, Coordinator of the first team “Increasing the participation of civil society in policy-making”;
• Avdyl Gashi, Coordinator of the second team “Improving the legal and institutional framework for public financing of CSOs”;
• Vlorian Molliqaj, Coordinator of the third team “Development of practices and procedures for the contracting of CSOs in the provision of public services”;
• Abetare Gojani, Coordinator of the fourth team “Increasing volunteerism for programs of public interest”.
