The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met today Vasfije Krasniqi Goodman, former member of the Assembly of Kosovo and a powerful voice in advocacy for the protection of the rights of victims of sexual violence during the war.
Mrs. Goodman shared her observation regarding the work of the Governmental Commission for the recognition and verification of the status of persons sexually violated during the war in Kosovo. During the meeting, the beginning of work on documenting and researching the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo through the newly established Institute was also discussed.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked Mrs. Goodman for her role, unwavering commitment, unparalleled courage in advocating for the rights of survivors of sexual violence during the war, as well as for her continued cooperation.
