Prime Minister Kurti welcomed the non-resident Ambassador of Bangladesh to Kosovo, Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today welcomed the non-resident Ambassador of Bangladesh to Kosovo, Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan.

Bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields of mutual interest were the main topics of the meeting. Emphasis was given to the field of economy and culture.

Prime Minister Kurti welcomed Ambassador Bhuiyan to Kosovo on his third visit to the country. He thanked him for Bangladesh’s support to Kosovo and for the growing cooperation, as he familiarized him with the latest developments in the country and the results of governance. Grateful for the hospitality and reports, the ambassador conveyed to Prime Minister Kurti the invitation from the Prime Minister of Bangladesh to visit there.

They talked about the possibilities and potential of improving trade exchanges in the coming years. Here the importance for both countries of avoiding double taxation was highlighted. Over 70 companies with capital from Bangladesh are registered in Kosovo.

The meeting also discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of culture, sports and youth.
Along with Prime Minister Kurti in this meeting was the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Kreshnik Ahmeti.
