In his office today, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed Japan’s new Ambassador to Kosovo, Ryuta Mizuuchi.
As a long -term strategic partner in the region, Prime Minister Kurti thanked Japan for the continued support for Kosovo and for the decision to open its embassy in Kosovo. Ambassador Mizuuchi welcomed them in Kosovo and offered close cooperation of the Office of the Prime Minister and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.
In this first meeting, the relations between Kosovo and Japan were discussed, with emphasis on those in the economic level. Prime Minister Kurti informed the ambassador of the advances marked in the last two years and the opportunities and conditions that Kosovo offers to foreign investors.
Ambassador Mizuuchi, who had visited Kosovo 15 years ago, is very thankful for the hospitality. He said Japan and Kosovo share common values and interests. He also expressed his positive appreciation for Kosovo’s attitudes in support of Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression.
