Prime Minister Kurti visits the “BBI Plast” company in Vushtrri, pledges to support small and medium businesses

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, visited today the company “BBI Plast” in the municipality of Vushtrri, owned by Irfan Zekolli, this company is also a beneficiary of measure 2.1 of the Economic Revival Package.

After thanking for the reception, Prime Minister Kurti took a close look at the field of activity of this company, whose primary activity is the production of plastic products, while its secondary activity is the wholesale trade of agricultural machinery, equipment and spare parts, and also has various other activities of trade.

“Today we came here to visit an enterprise which is increasingly successful due to the additional production it is doing, “BBI Plast”, in which case we had the opportunity to meet with the owner Irfan Zekolli and his workers “, said the Prime Minister.

“BBI Plast” employs 19 people. It is a small enterprise which aims to become a medium-sized enterprise and which excels in the production of plastic bottles for various materials and caps as well.
Prime Minister Kurti congratulated the owner Zekolli for the unstoppable work and commitment of this company which has started its activity since 2016 becoming a successful business in the market.

This company, which has been subsidized with 30,000 euros by the Government, is a registered and active business on the Superpuna platform, where one worker is engaged through the platform.

Currently, through Superpuna the business has 3 open positions. 2 positions are for workers in production, while 1 position is “Engineer of industrial plastic production machines”. These workers work in two shifts.

Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Murati thanked Mr. Zekolli for the hospitality and wished him success in the future, pledging to support small and medium-sized businesses.
