The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, held a telephone conversation with the Deputy National Security Advisor of the United States of America, Jonathan Finer.
The Prime Minister thanked him for the phone call and said that he is committed to working together with the United States of America, as a strategic partner and ally of Kosovo in the liberation and development of Kosovo for the de-escalation of the situation in the north of the country.
The Prime Minister emphasized that it is important that the crime be condemned and punished, and in addition to the punishment of the attacks on the KFOR soldiers, the attack on the Kosovo Police and the media should also be punished.
He said that it is important that violent mobs and criminal groups directed and controlled by Serbia leave the vicinity of municipal facilities and that the violence stops, so that the situation calms down. Municipal facilities are the property of the republic and they cannot be taken by force. He recalled that we had an electoral and democratic process accepted by the international community, including the 5 countries of QUINT.
