The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today visited the Hannover Messe business fair, which this year is taking place under the motto “Energizing a Sustainable Industry – World. Leading. Industry Show”, where the Government of Kosovo for the first time enables businesses from Kosova participated there.
Hannover Messe is the largest international trade fair covering a wide range of topics such as industrial automation, information technology, industrial supplies, production technologies and services, energy and mobility technologies. It is recognized as the main platform for industrial transformation on the international stage and is held in Hanover, Germany from April 22 to 26, 2024. Being a fair with tradition and importance, it was also visited by the Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz.
In order to promote local companies in finding foreign markets for the export of products and services, the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade (MINT) through the Agency for Investments and Enterprise Support in Kosovo (KIESA), has secured the space of 42 m2 for the participation of ten businesses in this fair.
The Prime Minister together with the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, the Ambassador of Kosovo to Germany, Faruk Ajeti, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, Luan Dalipi and the Political Advisor, Fëllanza Podrimja, were previously welcomed by the Executive Director of Deutsche Messe, Jochen Köckler, organizer of the fair.
At the fair, the delegation from our country had the opportunity to meet representatives from large and prestigious companies such as Microsoft, Siemens, Schneider Electric, and Bosch Rexroth.
After participating in the fair, Prime Minister Kurti and others held a working lunch organized by the Foreign Economic Council where they talked with entrepreneurs from various German companies. He introduced them to the development of our country, the business environment and the opportunities our country offers for investment.
Meanwhile, in the evening, Prime Minister Kurti and the accompanying delegation are invited to the dinner hosted by the Federal Association of German Industry, the Prime Minister of the Land of Niedersachsen, Stephan Weil and the Executive Director of Hannover Messe, where the Minister of Economy of Germany will also be present. Dr. Robert Habeck.
Tomorrow, Prime Minister Kurti will meet the Prime Minister of the state of Niedersachsen, Stephan Weil, and in the afternoon there will be a presentation at the Hannover Messe fair, before other meetings with international companies and in exile.
