This morning, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrulla Çeku, participated in the exhibition of publications in foreign languages about Kosovo entitled “Kosovo in the languages of the world”. This exhibition was opened to the public from March 25, 2024 and was organized by the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo.
As one of AShAK’s activities to mark the 25th anniversary of NATO’s intervention, Prime Minister Kurti was informed by the Head of the Academy, Mehmet Kraja, about the variety of topics of hundreds of books and publications in many foreign languages, which in addition to reflecting NATO’s intervention, they also include international support for Kosovo, as well as parts of the history of our people in times of war.
On this occasion, during the conversation, the prime minister also mentioned publications by foreign authors such as researchers, journalists and publicists, who through writings and various publications have sensitized the influential personalities of the democratic world about the situation in Kosovo during the 90s, with a focus on the successful intervention of the North Atlantic Alliance – NATO.
In this activity, Prime Minister Kurti was received by the Head of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo, Mehmet Kraja, the vice president, Justina Shiroka – Pula, the secretary of the Natural Sciences Section of AShAK, Fetah Podvorica, and the secretary of the Social Science Section, Gjyljeta Mushkolaj.
