On the occasion of the 17th anniversary of the death of the former president of Kosovo, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, under the auspices of the Presidency, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the President of the country, Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, paid tribute and placed wreaths of fresh flowers at his grave.
Commemorating President Rugova, the first of the first Republic of Kosovo and the first of liberated Kosovo, Prime Minister Kurti said that we remember him for his intellectual attitude, for his peaceful behavior, for his humanistic approach, for the internationalization of the Kosovo issue and for nationalization of civil resistance.

Together with the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, we placed fresh flowers and paid tribute here in Pristina at the grave of President Ibrahim Rugova. The first president of the first Republic of Kosovo and the first president of liberated Kosovo. January 21 is a cold day and it is a day in which, as we commemorate President Ibrahim Rugova, we remember him for his intellectual attitude, for his peaceful behavior, for his humanistic approach, for the internationalization of the Kosovo issue and for the nationalization of civil resistance.
