Prime Minister Kurti paid tribute to the grave of Adem Demaçi: A figure so extraordinary that it is unique to the Albanian nation

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the death of the activist and intellectual, Adem Demaçi, paid tribute today in honor of his life and work.

The Prime Minister announced that today, together with the Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic, Glauk Konjufca, with the deputy of Baca Adem as the general political representative of the KLA in Pristina from 1998-1999, the former political prisoner Skënder Kastrati and his colleague from the office of the KLA, Milot Cakajn, fresh flowers are placed in commemoration of a figure so extraordinary as to be unique to the Albanian nation.

“Today it was five years since uncle Adem passed away and of course we are sad and longing that we no longer have uncle Adem, but we also have pride and gratitude that we had him and knew him, that we worked and learned from him”, said the prime minister.
Father Adem’s life and work, his ideas and instructions, he further added, fill us with responsibility and self-confidence at the same time.

We laid fresh flowers and paid respects at the grave of Adem Demaçi here in Pristina, together with the Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic, Glauk Konjufc, with the deputy of Adem as the general political representative of the KLA in Pristina from 1998-1999, former the political prisoner Skënder Kastrati and my colleague from the KLA office, Milot Cakajn in commemoration of a figure so extraordinary as to be unique to the Albanian nation.
