Prime Minister Kurti paid a visit to the KSF barracks “Adem Jashari” and “Evropianët e Rinj”

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosova, Albin Kurti, visited today two barracks of the Kosovo Security Force, namely “Adem Jashari” in Prishtina and “Young Europeans” in Pomazatin. During the visit he was accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj and the Minister of Finance, Labour and Transfers, Hekuran Murati.

In the barrack “Ademi Jashari” he was received by the Deputy Commander of the KSF, Major General Enver Cikaqi, the Inspector General of the KSF, Major General Irfete Spahiu and Brigadier General Naim Haziri.

Addressing the soldiers, non-commissioned officers and officers of the KSF, Prime Minister Kurti said that our people expect them to maintain high morale and the desire to serve the country. “People outside these barracks see in you the brave, the wise and the courageous, who are ready and prepared to defend them and our country against any danger and threat”, Prime Minister Kurti stated in his speech.

Meanwhile, in the “Evropianët e Rinj” barrack, in addition to the Deputy Commander of the KSF, Major General Enver Cikaqi, Prime Minister Kurti was also received by the KSF Colonel, Shaip Haziri. In front of the soldiers present, Prime Minister Kurti said that the Kosovo Security Force continues to develop, modernize and interact with its partners.

“KSF last year landed in the Middle East for its first peacekeeping mission, alongside our allies, and this year it is preparing to land its units in Poland and the Falkland Islands for peace support operations. KSF’s participation in these international operations shows the best of your work and dedication, of your professionalism and will, of your high morale and your burning desire to serve the country”, Prime Minister Kurti added.

During the visit to the “Evropianët e Rinj” barrack, he said, among other things, that we are young Europeans because we are a new country in Europe, but we are the ancient people of Europe who consider the European Union a value and a goal.

“We have a glorious history, we will have a bright future”, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosova, Albin Kurti, concluded his speech.
