In Strasbourg, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was also welcomed by the German MEP, Manfred Weber, at the same time head of the EPP group in the European Parliament, and the MEP from Croatia from the EPP ranks, Zeljana Zovko.
The meeting discussed Kosovo’s application to the European Union, the remaining steps for completing the visa liberalization process and the opportunities that Kosovo offers to foreign investors.
With the increasing trend of exports every year, especially in the last two years, and with the support that the Government has given through the Economic Revival Package to businesses focused on production, Kosovo aims to become an export-oriented economy. Meanwhile, through the rule of law, the fight against corruption, good governance, and institutional stability, along with favorable tax policies and labor force characteristics, Kosovo aims to become attractive to foreign investors.
