Prime Minister Kurti met the leaders of the companies “Selise” and “Capita”

Together with the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli and the Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Liburn Aliu, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met with the managers of the “Selise” and “Capita” companies.

“Selise” is an international company in the field of Technology and Information with 500 employees worldwide. This company started operating in Kosovo this year and is now planning to increase the number of employees for the following years. In May, Prime Minister Kurti and Kurt Weber, head of the board of the “Selise” company, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in Zurich for the development of human capacities in the IT sector. Mr. Weber was also at the meeting today, along with CEO Julian Weber and COO Bobby Leu.

Whereas “CAPITA”, which was represented at today’s meeting by two managing directors, Christian Ecknauer and Hanspeter Wyss, is one of the leading European providers of external services in the field of digital transformation

The meeting discussed the possibility of organizing an economic forum in Switzerland before the World Economic Forum, which will be held in Davos in January 2023. It was also discussed about capacity building in Kosovo through Public-Private Partnerships and continued training by “Selise”.

During the one-day visit to Kosovo, the representatives of the two companies visited the Innovation and Training Park in Prizren. They were very pleased with the development the park is making.

Prime Minister Kurti thanked the two companies and their managers for the visit to Kosovo and for their interest. He said that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo welcomes foreign investments in the country and is constantly committed to providing a climate as suitable as possible for foreign investors.
