The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has met Lars Klingbeil, co-leader of the German Social Democratic Party.
In the meeting held within the Congress of the European Socialist Party, the importance of Germany’s increased attention to the Western Balkans region, as well as to Kosovo in particular, was discussed.
They talked about regional cooperation within the Berlin Process and expectations from this summit that will be held next month.
Speaking about geopolitical developments and sanctions in response to Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, it was emphasized that it is important for European partners to remain united over the coming months.
The excellent bilateral relations between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Kosovo as well as the inter-party relations between the SPD and the Vetëvendosje Movement were praised.
In particular, they talked about cooperation in the field of economy, the dual system of education and technical support.
