Within the framework of the 25th edition of the SYMI International Symposium, which is being held in Greece, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, held a conversation with the former Greek Prime Minister, at the same time also the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, former Minister of Education, George Papandreou.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked him for organizing this symposium in which progressive politicians and diplomats, academics and distinguished experts participate.
In response to the questions of the former Greek Prime Minister, he informed the audience about the work of the institutions in Kosovo, with an emphasis on democratic and economic progress, the rule of law and the fight against corruption, human and minority rights, social policies and political pluralism.
During the conversation, relations between the countries in the Balkans, European integration and the basic agreement with Serbia for the normalization of relations were also discussed.
This conversation preceded two discussion panels on the Balkans, one of which was attended by the European emissary and mediator for the Western Balkans, Miroslav Lajčak.
