The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo began his stay in Athens today to participate in the dinner invited by the Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, with a meeting with his counterpart from Croatia, Andrej Plenkovic.
In the meeting, they spoke about the excellent relations between Kosovo and Croatia and the potential that the two countries have for further deepening and concretization of them.
Prime Minister Kurti informed Prime Minister Plenkovic about the country’s progress and achievements on the economic and democratic level, with emphasis on the two-year government.
He congratulated his counterpart and Croatia for recently becoming the 20th member of the Eurozone and the 27th member of the Schengen area, as he described this as a great achievement of Croatia and Croatia as a model to follow.
Both shared their perspectives on geopolitical developments in the region and the challenges the region faces, remaining committed to close cooperation, in the service of common interests and in line with the European Union and NATO.
They also talked about the dialogue mediated by the European Union where the Prime Minister emphasized the need for the full, quick and unconditional implementation of the Brussels Basic Agreement and its Annex agreed in Ohrid
