The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, welcomed the Ambassador of Sweden to Kosovo, Jonas Westerlund.
Talking about the relations between the two countries, Prime Minister Kurti and Ambassador Westerlund emphasized the discussion about the Nordic Economic Chamber in Kosovo established this year, and the opportunities for increasing trade exchanges.
They also spoke about the process of European integration and expansion in light of the meetings with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, in Athens, where they discussed the European Union Development Plan and the speech of the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, who at the Bled Strategic Forum called for the year 2030 to be targeted as the deadline by which the EU and the countries of the Western Balkans are ready for expansion and membership.
The meeting also discussed current issues, including the dialogue and the elections that are expected to be held in the four municipalities in the north of Kosovo.
