The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Deputy Prime Minister, Besnik Bislimi, hosted the KFOR Commander, Major General Angelo Michele Ristuccia, in a meeting to discuss the situation in the country.
Freedom of movement, rule of law, security and protection, for all citizens, regardless of political beliefs or background, ethnic or religious affiliation, in the Republic of Kosovo is a priority and everyone’s interest. Security institutions must cooperate to guarantee a safe and peaceful environment for all.
Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that the mayors of municipalities, elected by free and democratic elections, must exercise their duties and responsibilities, to provide quality public services to all citizens, without obstacles.
Also, Prime Minister Kurti informed Commander Ristuccia that the Kosovo Police is committed to enable these mayors to enter their workplace from where they should and will serve all citizens without distinction or discrimination.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the municipal facilities are the property of the Republic
