Cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Vienna Economic Forum (VEF) is getting closer. To discuss the next steps in the direction of advancing the role of the organization and to promote businesses from Kosovo as a measure towards economic development, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti hosted the General Secretary of the VEF, Elena Kirtcheva.
During the meeting, they discussed the possibility of advancing the status of the organization with the help of the Republic of Kosovo as a member of the VEF, as well as the organization of the next forum in Vienna during November of this year.
Also, the focus was on the establishment of the VEF office in the Republic of Kosovo, which will be agreed through a memorandum of understanding between the organization and the Office of the Prime Minister.
The Government of the Republic of Kosovo is committed to close cooperation with the VEF and the promotion of local businesses with the aim of economic growth for the benefit of all citizens of Kosovo.
