Prime Minister Kurti hosted the General Director of ICMP in a meeting

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted the General Director of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP), Mrs. Kathryn Bomberger.

Mrs. Bomberger congratulated Prime Minister Kurti on the membership of the Republic of Kosovo in ICMP and emphasized the common commitment to shed light on the fate and location of the missing persons during the war in Kosovo.

Reiterating the commitment of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to the truth, to all the violent disappearances that have occurred during the war in Kosovo, Prime Minister Kurti thanked ICMP representatives for their commitment and support.

Through the engagement as a member of ICMP, the institutional and professional capacities of the Republic of Kosovo will be at the service of peace and addressing the processes of confronting the past everywhere, said the Prime Minister.

The Chairman of the Governmental Commission for Missing Persons, Andin Hoti, expressed his gratitude for the cooperation so far between ICMP and the International Commission for Missing Persons in Kosovo.

During the meeting, they talked about the possibilities to further strengthen the cooperation, to shed light on the fate and location of the persons who disappeared violently during the war in Kosovo.

On July 19 of this year, at the ceremony organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Kreshnik Ahmeti, accompanied by the Chairman of the Government Commission for Missing Persons, Andin Hoti and the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Dren Doli, delivered the accession instruments of the Republic of Kosovo to the ICMP headquarters in The Hague.
