Prime Minister Kurti hosted the Albanian Ambassador to Kosovo, Qemal Minxhozi, in a meeting

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met today the Ambassador of Albania in Kosovo, Qemal Minxhozi.

At the center of this meeting, for Prime Minister Kurti and Ambassador Minxhozi, were the bilateral relations between the Republic of Kosovo and that of Albania, the results of which are the signing of a total of 184 agreements, protocols and memoranda, and the level of applicability of the agreements so far.

In the meeting, it was said that the implementation of these collaborations has a direct impact on the lives of citizens, businesses and problems carried over over the years. As a result, these collaborations are comprehensive as they mainly affect the fields of security, trade, justice, education and culture.

In the last two meetings of the two governments, on November 26, 2021 and June 20, 2022, 41 governmental, inter-ministerial and inter-institutional agreements were signed between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania.

Meanwhile, among the agreements signed in July 2023, Prime Minister Kurti and Ambassador Minxhozi talked about the agreement for the facilitation of control procedures for products of non-animal origin, the cooperation between the parties for the mutual recognition of the profession of lawyer and mediator, the continuation of cooperation with a focus the facilitation of cross-border traffic, the advancement of the Joint Center for Integrated Border Management and the agreement on the donation of the e-inspection portal.
