The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted the professor of the State University of Iowa, Dr. Curtis Youngs, in a meeting.
The achievements in the agricultural sector in Kosovo and the potential that this sector has to influence the economic development of the country were highlighted.
The meeting discussed the further advancement of academic and professional cooperation between Iowa and Kosovo for the development of the agriculture and livestock sector based on the best international practices.
The implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation with the Iowa University of Science and Technology with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development was evaluated, with special emphasis on the exchange of experiences and best practices in agriculture and livestock.
