Last night’s iftar the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, had together with citizens at the humanitarian kitchen “Dera e Mëshira”, in the Municipality of Peja, which kitchen serves food and hot dishes for over 250 people or about 39 families in 6 day of the week.
Accompanied by the Minister of Administration and Local Government, Elbert Krasniqi, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Taulant Kelmendi and MP Fatmire Kollçaku, the Prime Minister said that he was pleased to be there tonight to share this moment together and for convey the message of helping each other, solidarity and tolerance.
The 19 popular kitchens that serve hot meals and dishes to citizens have been supported by the Government through measure 3.4 of the Economic Revival Package. The government will always have the citizen as a priority, staying close to them and working for everyone, without distinction, to have well-being and development.
After the iftar, the prime minister also made a note in the humanitarian kitchen, expressing his gratitude for the warm hospitality tonight to the representative of the association, Ferdi Xhaferi and his entire family.
“I thank the “Dera e Meshires” in Peja for the warm hospitality tonight for iftar and for the contribution they make: 38 families receive food every day and 250 of their members in total. I thank Ferdi and his wonderful Xhaferi family”, says the note of the Prime Minister
