On the 110th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of Albania and Flag Day, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi and the Deputy Prime Minister Emilija Redzepi, together with members of the government cabinet and deputies of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, first paid homage to the Statue of The National Hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu, in Prishtina, then at the Jashari family cemetery, in Prekaz, and the Tower of Isa Boletin, in Mitrovica, while Deputy Prime Minister Redzepi also paid tribute to the Albanian League of Prizren in Prizren.
Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi expressed his pride for all those who for decades and centuries have worked tirelessly and selflessly so that we can enjoy the freedom we have today. He also said that we must reflect on the obligations that we have not yet fulfilled, giving the promise that we will work every day of the year so that the promises of our heroes are finally fulfilled.
