Dear residents of Krushë e Madhe,
Nice to meet you again in this double celebration. On the celebration of the School Day and the inauguration of the new school in Krusha e Madhe of great pain, today we are united by joy. Children born free are celebrating free.
This school bears the name of a great patriot of ours, born here, in Krushë e Madhe, namely Bajram Curri, whose 160th birthday was celebrated last year. As an activist of our national issue, he was also committed to the Albanian school, helping to establish clubs and Albanian schools in Kosovo and protecting the alphabet of the Albanian language established in the Congress of Manastir. And today, together we are inaugurating a new school in his hometown dear to all of us.
I am much honored to share with you the happiness of the opening of this new school, which is also a proof of your steadfast determination to rebuild life, to build a brighter future for the children and young people of Krusha e Madhe. In this country, which has seen much destruction and much suffering in all ages, today we are opening the doors of a new school building.
In this new building, with an area of about 5000 m², you will find 23 classrooms, 2 rooms for pre-primary with separate entrance, laboratory, library, reading room and computer class, equipped with modern inventory. Now these classrooms are waiting to be filled with children, with curiosity for knowledge, zeal for work and dreams for the future.
Within these walls, teachers will guide and inspire students on the path of knowledge and understanding, reinforcing the values of learning, respect and solidarity. An environment where creativity is encouraged and critical thinking is fostered must be cultivated. Children, as they learn and expand their minds, will also learn the value of teamwork and the spirit of togetherness that extends beyond the school doors.
The beauty lies not only in the physical structures and architecture of this school that we are seeing here, but also in the profound impact that this institution will have on the lives of the children of the village and beyond. Education paves the way for endless possibilities, for individual development, shaping the personal but also the common future, contributing to the community and society. So today is a celebration of the power of education to transform lives and lay the foundations for a prosperous future.
So let’s appreciate this moment, the meeting point of beauty with progress, privilege with the immense responsibility to ensure that this school is successful, that its students are educated and educated, in order to realize their dreams.
The transformative power of education is immeasurable and it is our duty, our responsibility, to ensure that every child has quality education. Quality education is the most stable foundation for future prosperity. In order to raise the quality and improve educational conditions, we have increased the education budget this year as well. We have already secured 18 million euros for initial investments for the coming years in information and communication technology in the relevant infrastructure in schools.
With the Education Strategy for the period 2022-2026, which we approved in the Government, significant investments are foreseen in the field of early childhood education and information and communication technology. Because not only for education and personality but also for education and future profession, early childhood, early education in early childhood is crucial.
The Government of the Republic of Kosovo is working with a multidimensional approach to strengthen the state, by strengthening education.
Dear students, dear present,
Education is a collective effort that requires the active involvement of parents, the community and the government. Let’s engage together, so that with our educational system, with our schools, we raise knowledgeable citizens and generations who, as they grow, elevate the Republic of Kosovo.
So let’s work and let’s learn, let’s educate and let’s educate like the ideals of the nation’s martyrs and martyrs have always been and like the dreams of our children.
Happy School Day!
Enjoy the new school! May it be a place of successes and many joint achievements.
Thank you.
