The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, participated in the discussion table on the topic “The Enlargement Report: What is in it for Kosovo?” Part of this panel was the EU ambassador in Kosovo, Tomas Szunyog, and participants from civil society.

In his introductory speech, the Deputy Prime Minister said that in the situation created by the post-pandemic effects of inflation and the energy crisis caused by the war in Ukraine, the ability of the Government to intervene at the right moment, in a targeted manner, is important. The most important element is political stability, which has enabled the quick and well-targeted addressing of the Government’s measures to the needs of the citizens.

The priorities of our government are focused on two key areas such as justice and economy. For us, the result we achieve is important, especially in this direction. This report highlights and reflects the achievements of the Government in the last 12 months. Especially in terms of economic development, figures, statistics, facts and assessments from the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and many others, reaffirm and reflect these achievements.

Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi also spoke about the strategies and reforms undertaken by the Government, which have been evaluated in the Country Report
