The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, hosted the United Kingdom Ambassador to Kosovo, Nicholas Abbott.
The meeting discussed the security situation in the country, where the contribution of the British contingent within KFOR was emphasized. Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi informed Ambassador Abbott about the last meeting held in Brussels at the level of chief negotiators and the dialogue process.
He emphasized that the Republic of Kosovo continues to remain constructive and active in the process, committed to the full normalization of relations and mutual recognition.
The Republic of Kosovo and the United Kingdom share a strong friendship and partnership. Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi thanked Ambassador Abbott for the fruitful meeting, as well as expressed his gratitude for the cooperation and continuous support of the United Kingdom to Kosovo.
