During his stay in the Netherlands, the first deputy prime minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, met with the MEP from the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (S&D), Thijs Reuten.
Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi informed the MEP about the pace and dynamics of the work carried out in the fulfillment of European reforms.
Also, he said that Kosovo’s application for membership in the EU should include further evaluation steps and the receipt of the questionnaire to have a credible and equal evaluation of the reforms compared to other countries in the region.
The meeting also discussed the dialogue process, where Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi reiterated that the Basic Agreement must be implemented in full, without delays and conditions, and through a fair, balanced and equal sequencing plan.
Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi thanked the MEP Reuten for the meeting and the frequent and productive discussions.
