The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, hosted the head of the mission of Luxembourg in Kosovo, Eric Dietz.
Cooperation with the state of Luxembourg is dynamic and fruitful, and this was reaffirmed in today’s bilateral meeting. The commitment to the coordination and deepening of Luxembourg’s support for Kosovo in areas such as education and health continues intensively. Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi said that the Government highly appreciates the contribution made by Luxembourg as well as the financial support in various projects.
The two bilateral agreements signed in July last year are just the starting point of a long-term, efficient and productive cooperation. Kosovo offers numerous investment opportunities, a young and dynamic middle-aged population that promises a successful future for the country.
The meeting also discussed the dialogue process where the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has an active and constructive approach, is committed to principled dialogue, from which the citizens of both countries should benefit. The European proposal for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia is acceptable as a good basis for further discussions and a solid platform to move forward.
Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi thanked Ambassador Dietz for the meeting and conversation, reemphasizing the intensification of cooperation and coordination in projects and areas of common interest.
