The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, hosted the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of European Affairs of Montenegro, Jovana Marović.
The meeting discussed the journey of both countries towards integration into the European Union, the sharing of the experiences of each party in this process, the full commitment, the importance of cooperation and coordination as regional partners.
The rule of law and the fight against corruption and organized crime were mentioned, among the focuses of the two states in their advancement towards the values and standards of the European Union. Also, it was discussion on the models of involvement and participation of civil society in the processes of European integration.
The parties also discussed the new start of the Berlin Process and its role in increasing regional cooperation. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of European Affairs of the Government of Montenegro, Jovana Marović expressed her gratitude for the hospitality, confirming the good neighbourly and bilateral relations between Montenegro and the Republic of Kosovo.
