Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi hosted members from the German Bundestag in a meeting

The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, hosted a delegation composed of members of the German Bundestag at the meeting. The German MPs were accompanied to this meeting by the German ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde.

During the conversation, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi thanked the German MPs for their visit to Kosovo, expressing gratitude for Germany’s contribution and continuous support in the state building of Kosovo, the progress and development of the country.

He further presented the MPs with the situation in the country and the objectives and goals of the government, highlighting those in European integration as a process with high priority for our country, as well as the achievements in the economic aspect in relevant indicators and that of the rule of law. Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi emphasized that each policy we are implementing has only one goal, and that is to improve the lives of all citizens of the country.

Further, topics such as the achievement of visa liberalization, regional cooperation, the dialogue process and the act of aggression in Banjska were highlighted. On the latter, MPs Josip Juratovic and Thomas Hacker congratulated the Kosovo Police for the measured response and expressed concern for the large arsenal of weapons found.

In conclusion, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi thanked the MPs again for the visit as well as for the conversation and shared views.
