The Government of the Republic of Kosovo held an electronic meeting in which it approved the decision to continue the emergency measures of energy supply.
Through this decision, the Government proposes to the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, the extension of emergency measures in the supply of electricity, with the aim of fully normalizing the situation at the level of necessary extent and duration.
The extension of these measures is due to the increase in energy demand and the unstable state of electricity supply. The lack of energy comes as a result of the age of the current generating capacities, the partial investments in this sector and the continuous increase in consumption. This poses the urgent need to extend the measures for 30 days, due to the needs that may arise from the consequences of the international energy crisis.
