1. The Office for Budget and Finance has the following duties and responsibilities:
1.1. BFO does the budget planning of the Office of the Prime Minister;
1.2. Coordinates the budget policy of the OPM in accordance with the Budget Strategy;
1.3. Implements budget policies approved under the Law on Public Financial Management;
1.4. Coordinates budget planning with budget units within the OPM;
1.5. Controls and harmonizes the budget of the OPM with its budget units and the budget framework of the KCB;
1.6. Implements budget austerity measures approved by the Government and implements the provisions of the budget framework and circulars;
1.7. BFO prepares budget reports for the OPM;
1.8. Spend the budget in accordance with the plans of the OPM;
1.9. Implements all decisions of the Government and the Prime Minister regarding the budget of the OPM;
1.10. Compiles the Financial Statements of the OPM together with the budget units within the OPM;
1.11. Develops a cash flow plan;
1.12. Compiles various periodic and annual reports based on various requirements of the LPFMA and the Law on Access to Public Documents;
1.13. Implements Treasury policies and procedures on spending the OPM budget;
1.14. Takes necessary actions on budget savings;
1.15. Informs the Cabinet of the Prime Minister and the Secretary of the OPM on the budgetary status of the OPM, including the budget units of the OPM;
1.16. Informs the budget units of the OPM on the necessary measures on budget savings;
1.17. Implements all decisions taken by the Prime Minister and the Secretary of the OPM regarding the budget.
2. The Office for Budget and Finance performs other duties and responsibilities defined by Law no. 03 / L-048 on public financial management and responsibilities and applicable legislation, as well as the tasks assigned by the Prime Minister and the Secretary General of the OPM.
3. The Budget Office is headed by the Chief Financial Officer and has the functions and responsibilities that are defined by Law no. 03 / L-048 on public financial management and responsibilities. The Chief Financial Officer is equivalent to the director of offices.
4. The number of employees in the Office for Budget and Finance is 7 (seven) civil servants as follows:
4.1. Director of the Office for Budget and Finance;
4.2. Head of Finance Division;
4.3. Head of budget division;
4.4. Senior Accounting and Revenue Officer;
4.5. Senior Finance Officer and Cashier;
4.6. Finance Officer, and;
4.7. Property Officer.
