The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrulla Çeku, were invited by the Cinematographic Center of Kosovo and the Embassy of France in Kosovo for a working lunch within the Dokufest film festival, during which was informed about the co-production agreement between Kosovo and France for the documentary film “Adelina” by Aurela Berila.
Prime Minister Kurti expressed his satisfaction that this meeting and networking took place today in Prizren, with participants in the national and Balkan competitions, as well as representatives of the film industry from the region, including programmers, producers and festival distributors.
He highly appreciated the cultural importance that the DokuFest festival has for the country and singled out the good cooperation between Kosovo and France in the field of cinematography, for which he thanked the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the Cinematographic Center of Kosovo and the French embassy in Kosovo.
Starting this year, DokuFest will be a partner of the Euro Connection platform as a correspondent for Kosovo. This platform is the main platform at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival for short film co-productions. From this year, DokuFest will organize a call for projects from Kosovo that will be presented on the platform, with the aim of promoting partnerships for co-productions of short films between European and international production companies.
