The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received in a meeting the new ambassador of Switzerland to Kosovo, Jürg Sprecher, to whom he expressed welcome to Kosovo and congratulations on his new position.
During the meeting, they talked about the excellent relations between the two countries, with special emphasis on the Kosovo emigration to Switzerland as a connecting bridge in the field of economy as well as culture.
Prime Minister Kurti emphasized the commercial relations between us, where Switzerland is the second country in terms of direct investments in Kosovo, as well as the increase in direct exports by 25%.
He thanked Ambassador Sprecher for Switzerland’s support to Kosovo, before and after the war, especially through various important projects in sustainable economic development, climate change, health, good governance and strengthening democracy, as well as for the role and contribution of Swisscoy troops. within the KFOR mission in Kosovo.
Ambassador Sprecher was accompanied at the meeting by the deputy ambassador of Switzerland in Kosovo, Christoph Fuchs.
