The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo for Minority Affairs and Human Rights, Emilija Rexhepi, received the president of the Paralympic Committee of Kosovo, Mrs. Njomza Emini.
Deputy Prime Minister Rexhepi congratulated Mrs. Emini for achievements in the promotion of sports among people with disabilities.
“The Paralympic Committee of Kosovo, led by Mrs. Emini recently became a member of the European Paralympic Committee, thus enabling our para-athletes to compete in the European Paralympic Games to be held in Paris next year, enjoying full rights”, said Deputy Prime Minister Rexhepi, who from Mrs. Emini was also presented with the official mascot of the #Paris2024 Paralympic Games.
In this meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister reiterated the Government’s support for the Paralympic Committee, as well as for the promotion of sports among people with disabilities, remaining committed to working together in support of Paralympic sports.
