During his visit to the Republic of Albania, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was received by the President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj.
Thanking him for his hospitality and close cooperation, Prime Minister Kurti informed President Begaj about the two-year governance and progress of Kosovo, with an emphasis on the rule of law, the fight against corruption and the country’s democratic advancement.
They discussed the high-level political meeting within the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia on March 18 in Ohrid. On this occasion, Prime Minister Kurti informed President Behaj about the agreement reached, its elements, and about the constructive approach that Kosovo has followed in this meeting, but also throughout the process.
President Begaj thanked Prime Minister Kurti for the visit, as he gave his appreciation for the government’s achievements and support for the attitude and leadership shown in reaching the agreement on the annex to the implementation of the European Proposal, now the Basic Agreement. He also emphasized his and Albania’s support to Kosovo for its NATO membership.
