Munich, 19 February, 2023
To discuss the bilateral relations between Kosovo and Sweden, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti and the Prime Minister of Sweden, Ulf Kristersson held a bilateral meeting, within the Security Conference in Munich.
Prime Minister Kurti informed the Swedish Prime Minister about the progress achieved in the rule of law and about the economic and democratic indicators that are also evidenced by the reports of international organizations, including the EU report on the country.
They talked about Kosovo’s application to the Council of Europe and the European Union, and the importance of Kosovo’s further integration into international organizations.
Prime Minister Kurti expressed his gratitude for Sweden’s continuous support for Kosovo over the years and for the assistance to Kosovo’s institutions and society through various projects financed by the Embassy of Sweden in Kosovo.
