Munich, 18th February 2023
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and American Senator Bob Menendez, at the same time Chairman of the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, discussed bilateral relations, the close partnership between the two countries and its further strengthening.
In the meeting held today within the Security Conference in Munich, Prime Minister Kurti informed the senator about the government’s results so far, with an emphasis on the rule of law. He also thanked Senator Menendez for his active support for Kosovo in the US Senate.
They also talked about the dialogue process, the relationship with Serbia and the European proposal, in which case Prime Minister Kurti informed Senator Menendez about the positions of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the constructiveness shown throughout the process.
