The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti together with the Deputy Prime Minister for Minority Affairs and Human Rights, Emilija Rexhepi, met today the state deputy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the same time one of the founders of the SDA political party, Shemsedin Mehmetoviq.

With Mr. Mehmetoviq, it was discussed about the developments in the region, the dangers that threaten the Western Balkans, especially after the Russian aggression and invasion in Ukraine, which is already one year old, and about the destructive role of the official Belgrade in the region, which stems from its non-distance from Milosevic and Putin.

Among other things, Prime Minister Kurti informed him that recently, more precisely at the 127th meeting of the Government, Kosovo has approved three agreements signed within the Berlin Process for Free Movement with identity cards, for the Recognition of Professional Qualifications of Doctors , Dentists and Architects and Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications, throughout the Western Balkans. These agreements will enable the citizens of Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina to travel freely to each other without the need for visas, and only with identity cards.

They discussed the benefits that these agreements will bring to the citizens of the two countries and the positive impact on the relations between Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They also talked about the need for further engagement in the field of regional cooperation and finding solutions for important issues related to the region.
