Istanbul, 3rd February 2023
At the invitation of the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrulla Çeku, the Ambassador of Kosovo to Turkey, Agon Vrenezi and the former Mayor of the Municipality of Prizren , Mytaher Haskuka today conducted a working visit to Istanbul.
During his one-day stay in Turkey, Prime Minister Kurti had a meeting with President Erdogan and a joint working dinner with the relevant delegations.
They talked about the ties between the two peoples, the friendly relations between the two countries and the ways we can deepen and strengthen them. Also, we discussed new opportunities for cooperation in order to increase it in the economic, commercial and security and defense fields.
Prime Minister Kurti expressed his gratitude and that of the people of Kosovo for Turkey’s unsparing support throughout all the stages of the building of the state of Kosovo and its development, as he also expressed his gratitude for Turkey’s support for Kosovo’s membership in NATO and the Council of Europe.
