The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, hosted the ambassador of the United States of America, Jeffrey M. Hovenier.
In the meeting, the close partnership between Kosovo and the United States of America was reaffirmed. The dialogue process facilitated by the EU and the way forward were discussed, as a follow-up to the constructive visit of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the United States for European and Eurasian Affairs, at the same time the special envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar. Kosovo continues to remain an active party, with ideas in the process, constructive, with the will, readiness and commitment to reach a legally binding agreement, for full normalization of relations, with mutual recognition at the center.
Kosovo always welcomes the interest and commitment of the United States of America. With the United States of America, we are allies in values and partners in goals.
