Following the official meetings in Japan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, also met the Governor of the Japanese Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), Nobumitsu Hayashi.
Prime Minister Kurti has informed Mr. Hayashi for economic developments in Kosovo and has confirmed Kosovo’s participation in Osaka Expo 2025. He and the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, have expressed interest in JBIC’s soft loan programs and the opportunities to benefit from them for development projects of Kosovo.
On the other hand, Governor Hayashi informed Prime Minister Kurti and his delegation about the soft loan programs from JBIC. The Japanese side has expressed its readiness to see opportunities for cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
