On the 24th anniversary of the heroic fall of Fehmi and Xhevë Lladrovci, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, paid tribute and placed fresh flowers at their grave in Drenas.
From the 80s onwards, the name of Fehmi Lladrovci is encountered everywhere there was political and military activity for the liberation of Kosovo from Serbia. But just as the name of Azem Galica is usually mentioned together with the name of his wife Shota, the name of Fehmi Lladrovci has become indistinguishable from the name of his wife Xheva Krasniqi, the Prime Minister said.
Fehmi and Xhevë Lladrovci are among the key figures in the organization and establishment of the Kosovo Liberation Army and as such, together, they have become part of the modern history of Kosovo, the history they made yesterday, and it is up to us to remember and write it today, he emphasized.
On September 22, 1998, together with other KLA fighters, Fehmi and Xhevë Lladrovci faced several for several hours with entire Serbian units in Gradina, where they both fell martyrs fighting against the Serbian troops. That day, together with them were martyred Fatime Hetemi and Shefqet Zeka.
On this anniversary, Prime Minister Kurti honored the memory of Fehmi and Xhevë Lladrovci, Fatime Hetemi, Shefqet Zeka and all the martyrs who fell on the long path to the liberation of Kosovo.
